Aerial Photography & Cinematography
The Future Is Here
What a time to be alive! The aerial drone photography / cinematography industry is booming all over the globe, as drones are being utilized in industries across the board - filmmaking and video production, real estate, construction and land development, inspections and insurance claims, and soon enough, maybe even delivering for companies like Amazon!
As this new technology continues to develop, new regulations put in place by the FAA are making sure that commercial flights by drone pilots can be executed safely.
Our cinematographer, Josh, has put in the time and effort to become an FAA-Certified Remote Pilot, rated for the commercial operation of small UAS (Drones). You can be sure that along with our filmmaking expertise, we bring crucial aviation knowledge and training to conduct a safe, efficient flight every time we take off. Also, we're fully insured!

Note: If the location to be filmed is in within the bounds of controlled airspace (like near an airport), airspace authorization must be applied for with the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), and it can take up to 60 days to get approval (we usually get approved within 30 days or less, but it can take up to 60 days max). Airspace authorization must be obtained prior to any flights within controlled airspace.
Weather is a limiting factor. Strong winds can knock a drone right out of the sky. We follow the weather closely before every shoot to stay apprised of any possible bad weather. All aerial bookings come with a back-up day scheduled in case of bad weather. To that end, we reserve the right not to fly if winds are above 10mph at the time of filming.
